This itinerary describes a sailing trip around some of the most important monuments of Ancient Greek Civilization. These monuments are located in the Saronic Gulf, historically located between Athens and Argos, the center of the Mycenaean Civilization.
A typical day of this trip includes a sailing trip of about 2 hours, visit to an ancient monument, as well as swimming in the crystal waters of the Saronic Gulf. Sailing conditions are usually calm in the area and bays are protected. There are also different options during your trip, ports and coves that are more or less suitable depending on weather conditions, preference to spend the night on anchor or in port. So, this is a suggested sailing route that can easily be adapted to your personal preferences.
It is worth noting that this itinerary is feasible whether the trip starts in Alimos marina, or the marinas at its west, such as Kallithea, Zea marina in Piraeus, Nea Peramos or Pachi, the latter being located closer to the islands of Salamis and Aegina.
