Paros island, located at the center of the Cyclades islands, is the base for many sailing yachts. Different ports exist on the island, two are the main bases of yachts in Paros: Paroikia and Naoussa ports. Fewer yachts are located in the third port of the island, Piso Livadi
Paros Island can be reached by plane or by ferry. The airport is located around 10km away from both ports. There are public buses that run frequently from/to the airport.
From May to September there are more than 3-4 ferries leaving every day from Piraeus Port (Athens) to Paros (Ticket cost Euro 30 -35 per person and duration 3-5.5 hours). Ferries and speed boats arrive to Paroikia, you need a bus, taxi or mini van to go to Naoussa.
During off-season months (April and October), the ferry connections are reduced significantly.
Please inform us about your arrival details one week before the charter starts.
WATER is available on the quay, but no 220V power installation is yet available on the dock. FUEL is delivered on the quay by a car-tanker.
.ATM CASH POINT and a couple of banks are located near the yacht's pier. No specific parking area is found in the "marina" area. The base manager will advise you the safest place to park your car. No WC showers/ toilets are available in the marina.
There is a supermarket near the marina.Working hours Saturdays, usually 08:00-20:00.
Advanced ordering of provisions and delivery to the yacht is available upon request
You will be provided with an inventory list so you may check and confirm inventory delivered with the yacht. Yacht’s condition is checked with our staff who will demonstrate basic functional / operational features of the yacht and her equipment.
Before you check-in we will take care of formalities such as signing required documents, handing the yacht’s formal documentation and concluding any pending payments.
Security deposit is withheld on a credit card ( Visa or Master)
